The Draft MT All-Hazard Incident Resource Managment Plan (linked below) is available for public comment. The State Emergency Response Commission (SERC) develops certification, deployment, and cost recovery procedures for all-hazard incident response resources as a requirement of the Montana All-Hazard Incident Resource Management Plan under the authority of Montana Code Annotated (MCA), Title 10, Chapter 3, Section 1204, Part 10-13. Based on MCA, the SERC appoints the Members of the Montana Intrastate Mutual Aid Committee (IMAC). The responsibilities of the IMAC have been taken on by the All Hazard Response Committee, which is the committee responsible for the development of this plan. The All Hazard Response Committee has members from various public and private interests, and develops guidelines and procedures necessary to implement an effective mutual aid system, which are integrated into this plan. Further, the Montana Disaster and Emergency Services Division (MT DES) is responsible for comprehensive disaster and emergency services planning for the state. This plan is a critical component of the State Disaster and Emergency Plan, Volume III.
